Where are they

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

MR Wilson Pickett--white phospherous--4400 degrees for 50 seconds. Carry some tinfoil in your pots head band, cover it quick--won't help much.

OK fine, you found me out. don't know special forces jargon because I was too young for Viet Nam and too old for everything else and too much of a pussy to volunteer for anything. lost half of my life chasing money, skirt, booze and more money.
like they say... i made lots of money... some i spent on whiskey, some i spent on women... the rest i wasted.

Worked 6 years on a "military" off-shore oil rig when i was in my 20's. It was only military because all the senior personnel was ex-military. Tool Pusher, AKA Jesus Christ Himself, used a cattle prod if you were late getting out of your bunk in the morning. And the Company Man, AKA God Almighty Himself, paid all the bills and could decide if you took a boat to shore (14 hours) or a helicopter (1.5 hours) or even had a job. Brown nosing and ass kissing was of course standard protocol. Ah, the good old days... work your ass off, kiss some ass, risk your very life and get a bigass paycheck that you usually wasted. If i had it to do all over again, I would have shit in the company man's boots just to see the expression on his face when he put them on. If I could have squeezed out another turd, I would have graced the toolpusher's boots, too. But as I said, I was young and stupid. And not as full of shit then as I am now.

As a side note: I tried several times to make wine on the rig using what was available but I failed everytime with infected fowl smelling batches. If only I knew then what I know now..........

Where are they? just a click away.

When I was about 10 yrs old I cut up some bitter apples from the tree in the garden, stuck them in a bottle, filled with water, sealed tight and waited 2 weeks. It had fizz and tasted ok but I was too scared to drink it all. Secretly drinkin sherry and port from my parents drink cupboard was much better.

I almost got the idea for the apples from the cyplopedia that I read cos there was no tv.

Didn't have TV till I was about 12. Good thing too, except I missed seeing the first moon landings live.

Check out vans.com (that should do it) They make it so easy to build one. I helped a guy build a RV6 which he sold when his son and heir arrived upon the scene and then he built an RV10 four seater. Not as fast or lively as the RV6, but more gentle in turbulance. I hasten to say that I get nothing from Vans, just telling you that my experience with them is all good. Just what you want in a Homebuilt-Experimental aircraft.

I've got a buddy with a buddy who's got an RV6 and my buddy's ridden in it. It doesn't sound like a beginner's plane from what he says. Maybe I'll work my way up to it. I've already bought plans for a Pietenpol Aircamper. I wanted something simple and inexpensive to build. I also wanted a wood frame because building with wood is what I'm best at.

I've designed and helped build several ultralights over the years... Try to stay away from the flying strips these days, as well as the racetracks... Just can't afford to be around those hobbies at the moment...

Lately I have been digging around in the garage and have almost dug out that '59 chevy that I meant to restore 4 or 5 years ago when I parked it in there and before it became a shelf for everything else. Seems to me that my interest waxes and wanes on a seasonal basis with the fall being the hardest to stay up on the site because of everything else going on and competing for my spare time, what little there is of it anymore.
